As a young child, I was always preoccupied with reading, writing, and making sure that everything was fair and right for all. By the tender age of 5, I inherently knew that I was going to become a lawyer later in life. 13 years later, I worked hard towards obtaining my Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Carleton University.

I went on to successfully pursue my Juris Doctor degree at the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law. Throughout my studies, I spent a lot of time mentoring younger students as well as volunteering my time with various interest groups and organizations.  For example, I organized the first-ever residence-wide multicultural festival at Carleton University; and during law school, I became the National President of the Black Law Students’ Association of Canada where I cured the organization’s historical financial deficit.

Today, I am a successful human rights lawyer with a passion for justice, fairness, and equality. As a human rights lawyer, I help people obtain justice when they've been wronged. Each and every day, I work hard to ensure that justice and equality are served regardless of a person’s race, creed, sex, economic status and/or sexual orientation.

I continue to mentor aspiring legal professionals, and I also present public motivational speeches about achieving one’s goals, staying persistent, and overcoming failures in life regardless of one’s circumstances.
